Mission Statement

Voice of Feathers began as a passion project in 2021, inspired by a spiritually transformative solo trip to Far North Queensland. I felt called to visit the Southern Cassowary, an ancient and endangered species of flightless bird, inhabiting the rare and precious rainforest they call home. This keystone species—the heartbeat of its ecosystem—had a profound message for me about my own life’s purpose.

“Like me, your kind dwindles in numbers, and the environment that supports you shrinks by the hour. What wisdom does a prehistoric soul have in the modern world? What purpose? I am no novelty. On the surface, I may seem a relic of the dinosaur age, but my form continues in an effort to sustain and support a mini galaxy of diversity here on Earth. Like me, you are a keystone."

The cassowary’s message awakened a powerful realisation: just as this bird is essential to the survival of its ecosystem, I, too, have a role as a keystone—a translator and supporter of diversity in a spiritual sense. The cassowary sustains life by spreading seeds that nurture the rainforest; I strive to sustain the spiritual and emotional ecosystems of my clients, helping them grow, heal, and connect to their true selves.

At Voice of Feathers, I blend the wisdom of nature with intuitive practices and compassionate listening. Through tarot as a tool for self-reflection and guidance I hold space for my clients to uncover their purpose, explore their inner worlds, and feel seen and supported. Inspired by the cassowary’s message, I am dedicated to nurturing the voices and diversity of those who seek my guidance, empowering each client to embrace the unique keystone role they play in their own universe.

The name Voice of Feathers reflects both intuitive wisdom and ecological stewardship. We support efforts to protect the endangered southern cassowary, a powerful symbol of stewardship and diversity.
